Christmas Card Making

The nursery children had so much fun making their very own Christmas cards, filled with paint, glitter, and lots of love. It’s been wonderful to see their creativity and excitement as they prepare something special for their families.

We hope these handmade cards bring big smiles and festive cheer! 🎄✨

OPAL Playtime Donations

Dear families!

We’re excited to share that our children are having a blast during playtime, and the OPAL project is really taking off! This week, we’re on the lookout for any old laundry baskets, suitcases, wooden spoons, dressing up costumes, toy cars & dinosaurs that you no longer use. If you've got any spare items lying around, we’d be absolutely thrilled to give them a new life in our play sessions!

Also, don’t forget to check out some fun snapshots of the kids enjoying their lunchtime activities from last week! 📸

Thank you so much for your ongoing support! 💖

**FS2 Weekly Round Up!!**

What a fantastic week it has been for us! The children have been diving into their phonics learning and are really working hard to incorporate their phonics skills into their writing. This week in Literacy, we've been crafting "who doing what" sentences for the story *Stick Man*. The kids are mastering the essentials of a good sentence—capital letters, finger spaces, and full stops!

In Maths, we've been exploring capacity using mathematical language. Our little learners have been comparing different containers and describing them using terms like full, half full, empty, nearly full, and nearly empty. It's been such fun! And don’t forget, we’re gearing up for our Winter Sing-Along happening this Monday! 🎶 We have two slots available—morning and afternoon. Tickets are still available, so be sure to grab yours today to avoid disappointment!

Next week marks our last week of term, and we’ve got some exciting learning planned! We’ll be focusing on learning about 1 more and 1 less in Maths, continuing our phonics adventures, and getting creative with some fun Christmas crafts! Plus, our Christmas Sing-Along is on Monday, and we have our big Christmas Party on Friday! What a thrilling week ahead! ✨

Festive Fun

We had an amazing time celebrating Christmas Jumper Day! 🎉 It was wonderful to see everyone sporting their jolly jumpers.

The Christmas dinner was delicious, bringing our school community together for a festive feast. 🍽️

A special shout-out to our Y3 children who visited Housteads Residential Home & spread some cheer with the residents. Your kindness truly brightened their day! ❤️🌟

Class Christmas Parties

Dear families,

Mark your calendars for Friday, 19th December! We're hosting our end-of-term class Christmas parties for all the children in the afternoon, and it’s a non-uniform day!

We'll enjoy games and tasty treats together. If you could please send some food for your child to share, that would be wonderful! School will provide drinks. Just a quick reminder to avoid any nut products and to bring the food in that morning.

If your child has allergies, please ensure their medical records are updated in the office.

Got questions? Feel free to chat with your child’s class teacher.

We can’t wait for a fun-filled afternoon!

Thank you for your support! 🎄✨
