Year 6 Blog

🌟 **Y6 End Of Year Events** 🌟

Y6 families we’ve got so many fun events lined up for our Year 6 students in the last two weeks of the academic year! To help keep track of everything, we’ve put together a little timeline. This way, you can see what’s happening and what your child needs to bring to school!

Check out the poster below for all the details! 📅✨

❤️‍🩹📉Heart Rate ❤️‍🩹📉

Year 6 have been scientists this week and have been investigating the affect of exercise in our heart rates. We had to make sure our tests were controlled and that we repeated our results to ensure that we could account for any anomalous results.

🌟 **Whole School Transition** 🌟

Dear families,

On Wednesday 8th July, all our children will move up to their new classes and spend time with their new teachers.

Please remember to drop off and collect your children from the usual gates on this day.

Thanks for your cooperation! Are you excited for the new school year? 🎉

🌟🏃‍♀️🏃 OPAL Playtime Donations Alert! 🏃🏃‍♀️🌟

Dear families!

Our Opal Play project is a hit with the children during lunch times! 🎉 To make it even better, we’re asking for your help!

This week, we’re on the lookout for any old pots and pans, baking trays and sieves that you might have tucked away and no longer use. If you have any of these items, we’d love to give them a new home in our play sessions!

We’ve got some fun snapshots of the kids enjoying their lunchtime on the last week! 📸

Thank you so much for your ongoing support!💖

Athlete Visit

Last week, we had a super special visit from Antony Cotterill, a Team GB Wheelchair Tennis Player! 🎾 He inspired our pupils to get moving and embrace an active lifestyle.

The children took part in some sports exercises and learnt about the importance of a good diet and nutrition. 🥗✨

Thank you, Antony, for being such a fantastic role model for our young ones! 🙌💪
