Year 1 are doing yoga this half term. We developed flexibility to hold the Wild West poses such as cowgirl, cactuses, snakes, and cows. We will create a story using these poses.

Traction Man

Y1 have started reading Traction Man this week. We have made puppets and role played some of the events in the story.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Each week we will post an online safety newsletter that should help you and your child.

It can be hard to keep up in this ever-changing digital world. But the things that help keep children safe online are often similar to the things that keep them safe offline.

Encourage your child to think critically and question what they see online. Please find time to talk to your child about what they see online and about what they access on the internet (such as games and social media).

At hometime on Wednesday 29th January the PTA will be selling marshmallow cups & cupcakes on the infant and junior yard. All proceeds will be sent to Sheffield Children's Hospital

Dear families

on Friday 14th Friday we are having a non-uniform day to raise funds for Weston Park Cancer Hospital. If children wish to take part, they can donate £1 and come to school wearing non uniform clothes.

Dear families

We would love to invite parents from Y1 Aquamarine (Mrs Cox & Mrs Fazlanie's) class to watch their showcase assembly on Thursday 6th February 2.30pm. The children are so excited to showcase examples of work they have done so far this term. Please come along if you can.
