What a fantastic end to the term in FS2! 🌟

This week has been full of exciting learning and special moments. We’ve explored the life cycle of a hen 🐣, watched our beans grow 🌱, and were amazed as our caterpillars transformed into cocoons 🐛✨.

We also celebrated with joyful Eid parties 🎉 and have been working incredibly hard on our phonics and early reading—well done, everyone! 📚👏 Alongside this, we’ve been exploring 3D shapes and developing our understanding through hands-on activities.

A big thank you to all the families who joined us for parents’ evening—it was lovely to share the children’s progress with you.

We hope you all have a wonderful Easter break 🐰🌼, and we can’t wait to welcome you back next term as we dive into learning about our local area, our capital city, and Africa! 🌍✨

school is now closed for the Easter holiday, and will re-open for all pupils on Tuesday 14th April 2026.

Today has been such a fun-filled day celebrating Eid! Children have played exciting games, and indulged in delicious treats at their parties! Some even had an Easter egg hunt too! It’s been absolutely amazing to see all the children & staff looking so sharp in their smart Eid clothes! What a wonderful way to celebrate together! #EidCelebration

Principal Spring Message

Our students have been busy revising and expanding their skills in translating shapes across all four quadrants while reflecting on different axes. They've paired up to explore the differences between translation, rotation, and replotting shapes!

Y4 had a special visit from an audiologist who shared fascinating insights about how we hear. 🎧 She explained the science behind our hearing and how she applies it in her job. It was so interesting to learn more about our ears and the importance of sound in our lives! Thank you to Alice for such an enlightening session! 🙌

BMX Fun

What a fantastic morning we had! Our Y5 children had an amazing time BMX riding at the Hillsborough Pump Track. We all had lots of fun taking on obstacle courses and wheelies

In Y4, we took a peek at an image from our upcoming text and had fun predicting what it might be about! 🤔✨ It's always so intriguing to see how a single picture can spark our imaginations and lead us down different paths of thought.

On Thursday 16th April, we are excited to be holding a special Grow & Sow Day for our FS2 children!

To help us with our activities, we kindly ask that each child brings one packet of seeds to school. These could be flower seeds, vegetable seeds, or herb seeds – anything that can grow in our garden!

We’re looking forward to a fun day of planting, exploring and learning together. Thank you for your support!

Our Y1 children are having so much fun taking part in bikeability lessons! It's fantastic to see them enjoying the sunshine while learning important skills. Keep it up, little bikers! 🌈💚
