The Y5 team would like to invite Parents to a MEET THE TEACHERS BREAKFAST to give you the opportunity to share breakfast with your child and to chat with your child’s teachers.

Y4 are heading to the Peak District for a fantastic field trip! This is a great chance for the kids to enjoy hiking, orienteering, and nature exploration.

Y4 PERIDOT: Monday, 6th July

Y4 ONYX: Friday, 10th July

Y4 TURQUOISE: Tuesday, 14th July

Please have your child at school by 7:40 am for registration.

The cost of the trip is £7

Packing list: Waterproof coat, warm clothes, hat, sun cream, rucksack, trainers, packed lunch, healthy snacks, and a large water bottle! Free school meals will get a packed lunch provided.

Nursery & FS2 families!

On Thursday, 9th July, our little ones will be embarking on a fun-filled teddy bear adventure right on the school field!

Nursery will have a picnic in the morning and afternoon, whilst FS2 will have teddy fun in the afternoon following their graduation ceremony.

Parents please don’t forget to send your child with their favourite teddy bear and a cozy blanket for the picnic! We would also love your support in making this event special by donating some food for our picnic feast please. The school will take care of the juice.

Let’s make this a memorable day for our children and their beloved bears!

We’re super excited to share that our Opal Play project is a hit with the children during lunch times! 🎉 To make it even better, we’re reaching out for your help!

This week, we’re on the lookout for any old pots and pans, baking trays and sieves that you might have tucked away and no longer use. If you have any of these items, we’d love to give them a new home in our play sessions!

And guess what? We’ve got some fun snapshots of the kids enjoying their lunchtime on the last week! 📸

What a fantastic week for our Year 4 pupils! They took part in an exciting publishing event where they presented their balanced discussions to a fantastic Year 6 audience.

Our Year 6 pupils displayed excellent listening skills, thoughtfully considering both sides of each topic before sharing their own viewpoints. It was truly heartwarming to witness such thoughtful discussions and collaboration between the year groups.
