We're excited to announce that this year's Lantern Parade will be held at Phillimore School! Join us for a night filled with fun, entertainment, and delicious food. Mark your calendars for Thursday, 5th November!

Please arrive at Phillimore School with your lanterns by 3:30 PM ready for the parade.

Just a quick note: we will be taking photographs during the event, and some of these may be shared on our social media pages.

Our Year 6 students are diving into the world of music and learning how to play "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars on the ukulele! #MusicEducation #UkuleleFun

We had an amazing time describing our characters to our partners! We got creative with adjectives and prepositions to really paint a vivid picture. It was great to see how the same character can be interpreted in so many different ways.

This week in science, our Y5 students have been diving into the fascinating world of filtration as a separation technique! They explored how this method is used in Stage 3 of separating a mega mix.

🏫 FS2 - Y6 - head on in through the main school entrance and wait outside your child’s classroom.

Our first appointment is 3:30 PM, and we will do our very best to stick to time! If you haven't booked your Parent Evening appointment yet, don't worry—you can easily do that through the Arbor app.

We're excited to announce our Black History Month Exhibition will be happening in the junior hall tomorrow and Wednesday! We warmly invite all parents to stop by and see the incredible work our children have created when you attend your parents evening meeting.

This year's theme is 'Honouring our Communities,' providing a fantastic opportunity to celebrate both historical and recent contributions of Black individuals in Britain. Let's come together to reflect on the positive impact of these individuals on our school family and the broader community.

Dear parents/families

On Friday, November 20th, our Year 5 children will be visiting the Lyceum Theatre to join in the celebration at the Sheffield Children’s Book Award ceremony!

We’ll be leaving school at 9am and will return in plenty of time for home time.

 Children will need a packed lunch from home, however for those on free school meals, your child will receive a packed lunch from school. If your child has any allergies, please remember to pack their lunch from home.

We can’t wait for a fantastic day celebrating the joy of reading!

Year 6 have been historians and archaeologists this week. We have carefully excavated ‘artefacts’ from the Anglo Saxon times. We have had to look carefully and decide what we think the object was and, most importantly, decide what it tells us about Anglo Saxon life.
