Fun Learning in FS2

This week in FS2 has been filled with creativity and fun! 🎨✨ We acted out the imaginative story of Zog and even created our very own story maps to bring it to life.

In maths, we dove into learning about length, and everyone is making great progress!

With a lovely break in the weather, we took advantage of the sunshine and enjoyed some outdoor learning. Our adventures included riding bikes, playing with nature soup, and using natural resources to create some beautiful transient art. 🌿🚴‍♂️

And let’s not forget our drawing club where we let our imaginations soar by drawing dragons! 🐉💖

Evoluation

In science, Year 6 have been learning all about evolution and Darwin's Theory of natural selection. We went out to search for 'caterpillars' on the field. We realised that the more camouflaged ones were harder to find, therefore birds would less likely eat them compared to brighter coloured ones. This is known as survival of the fittest. The children had a great time competing to see who could be the 'most successful bird.'
