World Book Day - Thursday 6th March

Dear families

Thursday 6th March is World Book Day and we have some really exciting activities planned! We are inviting pupils to come to school in comfy clothes such as PJs!

We're really looking forward to immersing ourselves in the amazing world of literature, We are inviting any parents, grandparents/carers that are free to come into school and share stories with your child in their classrooms from 2.45pm

Ancient Tales

As we prepare for half term, we've been preparing our much loved work to go to our families in Y4. We have finished our Arabian Tales, published them on ancient (style) scrolls and wrapped them up to share them at home with loved ones. We hope you enjoy hearing them as much as we enjoyed creating them!

Please join us in congratulating our Y4 pride and value award winning pupils this week.

The final Y4 trip to Grimm & Co is taking place today. Despite the grey weather, Y4 spirit's were not dampened! Students created and brought home their own, unique storybooks with Grimm & Co. Working alongside an artist, a scriber and other members of the team, students worked both independently and in groups to make their own, special fictional piece. Plus, the grandeur of the Grimm & Co building never fails to get the creative thoughts running. Thank you for having us, Grimm & Co!

Parent's Evening - please book your appointment now

Good morning families

we will hold our Spring parents evening on Tuesday 15th April and Wednesday 16th April 3.30 - 6pm. Parents, please make appointments via the arbor app, or contact the school office if you would like help to do this.

Y4 have been starting their division. Working in Kagan structures for a co-operative approach, they have been helping each other solve division sums using dienes. Keep up the good work, Y4!
