🎃🎃Pumpkin Painting 🎃🎃

Y4 have been continuing to create their ceramic pumpkins inspired by Yayoi Kusama. We have done our base colour according to our plans and will be adding the infamous polka dots next week. The students have loved personalising their ceramic masterpieces!

👩‍🔬👩‍🔬 Y6 Scientists👩‍🔬👩‍🔬

In Year 6, Disci has been helping us think like scientists by planning and carrying out an investigation. We wanted to find out what happened to the brightness of a bulb when we added more cells/voltage to a circuit. Disci taught us about the importance of control variables and about repeating our findings for a fairer test. Thanks Disci!

Rainbow Talk

In nursery our current theme is 'Look at me'. We have been talking about our families and who lives in our house. For our rainbow talk session, we looked at a picture of a family eating dinner. The children used their rainbow fans to talk about the picture.

🎨🎨Pressed Printing 🎨🎨

In art this week Y2 practiced press printing. We chose a pattern, drew it onto our printing block and used paint to press and transfer our design into our art books!

School Book Fair

Dear families

We will have the Scholastic book fair in the Junior Hall starting Tuesday 15th October. Please see opening times on the picture attached.

Families will be able to buy a variety of children's books. When families purchase books, school is given a cashpot to spend on books too. Last year due to all the purchases our families made we were given £167.20 to spend on books for our new library.

Many thanks to all our families who purchased books last year.
