Y4 Peridot - 24th September
Y4 Turquoise - 6th November
Y4 Onyx - 12th November
The pupils will engage in the fantastic Young Rangers Discovery Program led by Discovery Outdoors. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to connect with their local environment and enhance their map skills—all while having fun outdoors!
Please make sure your children arrive promptly at school by 8:40 AM, as we'll be catching the 52 bus and taking a short walk to the nature reserve. We’ll be back in plenty of time for home time, so no need to worry!
A reminder that children will need to bring a packed lunch, as they’ll be enjoying their meal at the reserve. If your child usually receives a free school meal, don’t worry—a meal will be provided for them.
Let's prepare for a day filled with learning and fun! It's important that the children dress warmly and be ready for any wet weather—getting muddy is all part of the adventure!
While the trip will show up as free on Arbor, we are kindly requesting a contribution of £2.00 to cover the return bus fare. Please make any payments at the school office. Also, don’t forget that all parents must give consent via Arbor.
Thank you for your support, and we can’t wait for this fantastic adventure!
Join us on Wednesday 24th September 9-10am in the Woodlands for a fabulous coffee morning to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support!
We would love your help! If you’re able to whip up something sweet, cake donations will be gratefully received. Just a little reminder to include all allergy information.
And don't worry—if there are any cakes left at the end of our morning session, we'll be selling them at the Junior yard after school. So, let’s spread the word and make this a delightful event!
Y2 children are set to visit Weston Park Museum for their “Pattern and Texture” art topic! Y2 Moonstone will go on Wednesday, 24th September, followed by Y2 Diamond and Y2 Sunstone on Tuesday, 30th September. They’ll explore patterns, design printing blocks, and create a collaborative artwork!
Lunches will be provided, but if your child is bringing their own, please inform their class teacher. Remember to dress your child in school uniform, comfy shoes, and appropriate weather gear.
Make sure any medical information is up-to-date with the school office. If you have any concerns about the trip, feel free to reach out to your child's teacher.
