Relay Your Way - 13th June

Dear Parent/Carers

We are delighted to let you know that the whole school will be taking part in an exciting event called ‘Relay Your Way’ on Friday 13th June 2025. The event promises to be fun and engaging for all involved, promoting inclusion, physical activity, and school spirit.

About The Event

Relay Your Way is an epic relay across Britain championing the 1.5 million young people in the UK with disabilities, including half a million children living with brain conditions. The event will be stopping at Sheffield, and they have selected our school to take part in a baton pass.

For more information, visit the website: https://www.relayyourway.org/

As part of the event, the organisers (or any third parties instructed by Cerebra) may take photographs, video footage, audio recordings, and gather comments from participants throughout the event. These may be used for promotional, educational, or archival purposes in printed or digital formats, including websites and social media.

If you do not want your child to be included in any such media coverage, please notify the school office, and opt out.

If you have any further questions, please ask your child’s class teacher.

Thank you for your continued support.

**πŸ‘©β€πŸš’πŸš’ Y2 Visit to National Emergency Museum πŸ‘©β€πŸš’πŸš’**

 Dear families

On Wednesday, 18th June, our Y2 children will be embarking on an exciting adventure to the National Emergency Services Museum! πŸŽ‰

Throughout the day, the children will dive into the fascinating history of the Great Fire of London. They’ll even have the chance to handle some replica objects and try out different methods that brave soldiers used to battle the fire. How cool is that?

We plan to leave school at 8:40 AM, so please make sure to arrive by 8:30 AM—let’s get everyone on board and ready for a day of fun! We expect to return to school by our usual home time of 3:15 PM.

The cost for this fantastic trip is just £8 per child. We also recommend that each child brings a backpack packed with everything they’ll need for the day. Don't forget a spare change of clothes and a water bottle with your child’s name on it! Good news!

All children will be provided with a free packed lunch by the school. If your child will be bringing their own lunch, please let their class teacher know ahead of time. We can’t wait for this fun-filled day of learning and adventure! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

πŸ₯³πŸ₯³ Eid Parties πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Dear families,

On Thursday 5th June we will have special classroom Eid parties πŸŽ‰

We would greatly appreciate your help with food donations for the children to enjoy together. The school will provide drinks, and we kindly ask that you avoid any nut products and keep in mind our commitment to promoting healthy eating.

The parties will be held in the afternoon, so please remember to bring any food donations in with your children in the morning.

Our nursery kids will also have a celebration during both their morning and afternoon sessions.

Additionally, Thursday, 5th June will be a non-uniform day for everyone! 😊

As always, please ensure that any allergies your child may have are noted in their medical records at the office.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support! We can't wait to celebrate together!
