This week, we’re on the lookout for any old pots, pans, suitcases and kitchen utensils you no longer use. If you've got any spare items lying around, we’d be absolutely thrilled to give them a new life in our play sessions!

Today, we have teamed up with thousands of young people all over to spread some sunshine by wearing yellow! It’s no secret that the world can be a challenging place for our kids and teens.

A huge THANK YOU for helping us raise £170

It was brilliant to see smiles on faces on everyone who joined in the fun run today too! Let’s keep the momentum going and support each other every step of the way!

This week we’ve been busy little learners:

In Phonics, we practiced listening carefully to sounds and blending them together.

In Maths, the children explored repeating patterns, spotting and creating their own using Autumn treasure.

In Literacy, we had fun making building sentences on our shape coding boards to help us understand how sentences are built.

The children loved doing leaf rubbings, noticing the beautiful textures and patterns nature gives us.

Well done FS2 – such curious minds and enthusiastic learners!

We are excited to announce that our junior children will be taking part in a fun run to celebrate World Mental Health Day! This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to get active and have fun while supporting an important cause.

To ensure everyone is comfortable, please can the children come to school in trainers or bring a pair with them. Your support in this event is greatly appreciated!

Wellington Boots

Dear Parents and Carers,

We’re excited to let you know that children can now bring in their own wellington boots (wellies) to school! This means your child will be able to enjoy outdoor play and learning on the field throughout the year, whatever the weather.

To help us keep things organised, please ensure that your child’s wellies are clearly labelled on the inside with their name and class using a permanent marker.

Thank you for your support in helping us make the most of our outdoor space!

Dear FS2 Parents

You are all invited to a welcome to FS2 workshop on Tuesday 14th October 9-9.30am.

The meeting will give you an insight into the day your child has at school, and how you can support your child's learning.

Good morning families

We will hold our annual lantern parade on Wednesday 5th November! Bring your lanterns and enjoy the fun. Please arrive at school with your lanterns for 3.30pm, the parade will start at 4pm.

There will be entertainment from our school choir, Bollywood dancers, fire throwers stilt walkers and much more!

Please note photography will be taken at the event and used on social media.

To acknowledge World Mental Health Day, we are inviting all children to attend school in something yellow on Friday 10th October 2025.

We kindly ask that children donate £1 and all monies raised will go to Young minds charity.
